The incredible team at Ghostly International just posted this brilliant 1983 documentary of groundbreaking American composer Philip Glass directed by Peter Greenaway, the acclaimed director of such films as 1987’s The Belly of an Architect.  The 6-part YouTube doc is nearly 30 years old, and for any lover of Philip Glass and his outstanding contributions that have forever altered the course of music history it is simply a treasure.  I have attached the first of the 6 clips below, along with my all-time favorite Philip Glass performance from 1986 where he performs his classic “Mad Rush”.  For all things Ghostly International be sure to follow them on Facebook as well as the amazingness that is GHOSTLY.com.
