Miami architect Chad Oppenheim‘s got it made. Not only is he one of the most in-demand architects in the entire United States, his own private home is a dream come true for pretty much anybody. Nicknamed the “Villa Allegra,” Oppenheim’s home is a perfect fit for Miami’s architectural vernacular, as well as a stunning example of progressive design. Designed with a program meant to blur the line between interior and exterior, the 8,600 sq. ft. home honors Miami’s traditional materiality with its integration of coral rock and cypress wood, and wrought iron decorations that are part of Miami’s design heritage.
