Australian husband and wife, Karina and Craig Waters, spent a long time searching for the perfect French house to turn into their dream home. The couple had all but given up on the hopeless search, until one day their son was scouring the web and found the idyllic Chateau de Gudanes nestled in the Midi-Pyrénées which had been sitting on the market for four years. In no time at all the family had bought the house, and the long road of transforming this abandoned mansion back to its full glory began in full force.
