Located in the uber-elite district of Toorak in Melbourne, Australia lies the amazingness that is the “Shrouded House”. Designed by INARC Architects, the phenomenal residence is home to a very lucky family of four along with their beloved Labrador retriever. The home was completed in February 2012 and the interior design and furnishings were carefully considered under the watchful eye of consultant Allison Pye Interiors. Coming in at a whopping 9,150 square-feet (not including the gigantic 3,330 square-foot basement and the 753 square-foot poolside cabana) and 13 rooms, the Shrouded House was named after the bronze aluminum battens that not only screen the house from the intense Australian sun, but also appear to dematerialize the structure while blending it into its natural surroundings.
