Amy Muir and Bruno Mendes are the husand and wife team of architects behind the firm Muir Mendes, and they’ve recently completed construction of their own home in Melbourne, Australia. The couple started work on the home over 5 years ago with the help of Bruno’s father, a master steelworker. Sight lines and sun angles were carefully considered to maximize the view of the sky and keep the home naturally cool in the summer, and toasty warm in the winter, and the interior decor of the home is very minimal so as to highlight the angular interiors.
