Lately I’ve noticed there’s a lot of over-stylized pocket documentaries about designers and artisans out there. It’s starting to become a little bit cliche, but when I saw this profile of ornamental reverse glass glass sign designer/maker David A. Smith, my heart and soul went pitter-patter and by the end of the story I was nothing more than a puddle on the floor. One of the most stunning profiles of an artist I’ve seen in a very long time.
