Giving birth can be a delightful moment for expectant mothers. Although, at the same time, giving birth is also a stressful time as there can be numerous natural complications. And during birth can cause seizures and, in some cases, death. If the umbilical cord is not correctly handled during the birthing process and the mother’s blood pressure drops, the results can be fatal for both the mother and the baby.
Postpartum Hemorrhage
Also known as PPH, the bleeding caused by childbirth becomes excessive and can be fatal. It is natural to bleed during delivery, but with all the tools and equipment involved, injuries and cuts can occur, which can cause abnormal blood loss for the mother and, in some cases, death. Trained medical practitioners know how to stop the bleeding, although, in medical malpractice cases, the mother could die as a result.
