Kindness‘s brand new album Otherness is a huge critical and fan favorite, and this week we’re getting our first look at the brand new video for “Who Do You Love?”  The song is a collaboration with legendary Swedish artist Robyn, and the video itself stars the people who mean the very most to both of them — their family and closest friends.  Most notably is an aggressive metalhead who actually inspired the song.  Kindness, Robyn, and Robyn’s boyfriend Max (he’s in the video too) bumped into the rough and tumble stranger on the streets of Stockholm, and they later shared a brilliant jam session together in a nearby guitar store.  In a recent interview, Kindness himself (a.k.a. Adam Bainbridge) said: “This video and this song is about people and connection, and how you can identify who you are by those you love.  Those people say a hell of a lot about you.  Daniel’s idea was a series of portraits of our closest friends and family — in a way, the most revealing portraits of us possible.  There’s something about seeing all these people together, all these people that would do this for us — it makes the song make a little more sense, and a little more powerful.”  You can grab your own copy of Kindness’s Otherness on iTunes, and be sure to follow him on Facebook and visit him at Kindness.es.  I’ve also attached Robyn’s terrific video for “Monument” which was released earlier this summer.  You can read more about that HERE.
