Louisa May Alcott once wrote, ““Some people seemed to get all sunshine, and some all shadow.” Artist Anila Quayyum Agha is one person who gets both. Her brilliant installation work, entitled “Intersections”, recently stole the show at the ArtPrize international art competition where she was awarded a historic double-win: $200,000 for the Public Vote Grand Prize, as well as $100,000 for the Juried Grand Prize.
