Although Easter is technically over for the year, there is no expiry date to my love of Romanian Easter eggs.  Nowhere is this elegant art form captured more beautifully than in Titus-Armand Napirlica‘s stunning video portrait of traditional Romanian egg painter Elena Craciunescu who lives in a small village in Romania’s northern region of Bukovina.  Watch above as Craciunescu demonstrates her extraordinary talent, and explains what her art means to her.  Easter is the most important celebration of the year in Romania.
