It’s not uncommon to find people with a special connection to a dog or cat. But a goose is another story. Steve Hartman of CBS Sunday Morning pays a visit to Dominic Ehrler won the unconditional love of a goose at Echo Park in Los Angeles. Their friendship went all the way to the national news back in February 2011, meaning Maria The Goose became one of the most famous animals in the city. All that attention put Maria at risk, so city officials moved her to the Los Angeles Zoo for her own protection, and it’s here where CBS met up with Dominic, Maria’s best friend in the whole wide world.
