This definitely qualifies as one of those rare “Why didn’t I think of that myself?” stories.  Photographer Richard Renaldi is just like the rest of us on this planet — he encounters strangers every single day of his life in New York City.  What separates Richard from us is that he introduces himself to these strangers, then introduces them to each other as well.  In a fascinating series, Renaldi places these perfect strangers in perfectly composed positions and photographs them to a surprisingly fascinating effect.  The photos are interesting in their own right, but the video profile of Renalidi below truly brings out the extraordinary backstory of the photos.  You can see more of Renaldi’s work by visiting Renaldi.com.
