Released back in August, WASHED OUT‘s sophomore album Paracosm is one of my favorite albums of the year so far.  In case you haven’t heard it you can stream it in full below.  The Creators Project put together some great video vignettes of WASHED OUT (a.k.a. Ernest Greene) and the work that went into the album (watch them HERE), and the team at NOWNESS is also getting into the WASHED OUT love fest this week.  Greene and his band are profiled in the debut instalment of NOWNESS’ new pocket documentary series entitled Sunrise, Sunset, a collaboration with the music filmmaker collective Yours Truly.  In the video, Atlanta-based WASHED OUT packs their bags and heads out to Carmel, California where they soak up some of the best sights Mother Nature has to offer, and also perform live on the Carmel coast.  “It was interesting to see the changes in color that happen over the course of two or three hours,” says Greene about the NOWNESS shoot.  “I can’t remember the last time I slowed down enough to soak all of that in.”   You can pick up your own copy of Paracosm on iTunes.  For all FEELguide stories related to WASHED OUT be sure to visit WASHED OUT on FEELguide.
