As any Canadian can testify, our national television network CBC is an amazing organization.  Not only is CBC NEWS one of the best damn news agencies in the world, but CBC is an enormous champion and resource of incredible music as well.  Day after day, CBC Radio 1, CBC Radio 2, and CBC Radio 3 provide us each and everyday with an impressive supply of brilliant music both old and new.  For instance, I am a diehard fan of CBC Radio 2’s classical music morning radio show Tempo hosted by the amazingness that is Julie Nesrallah (9am to 1pm weekday mornings ONLINE).  I’m also a news junkie, and I’ve noticed recently while watching CBC NEWS that they often sprinkle some delicious musical gems just before their commercial breaks.  Yesterday I caught one of those gems when they played Nova Scotia-based songstress Mo Kenney’s stunning new track “Sucker”, featuring Joel Plaskett by her side.  You can watch it below, and to enter the world of Mo Kenney be sure to visit her at MoKenney.com.  I’m pairing Mo’s “Sucker” with another beauty from MY BRIGHTEST DIAMOND entitled “I Have Never Loved Someone”. MBD is the project of New York-born singer–songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Shara Worden.  For more from Sarah you can check out her site at MYBRIGHTESTDIAMOND.com.
