Over the past few hours this morning a flood of worthy praise and adoration is being thrust upon London-based soul artist DEPTFORD GOTH (a.k.a. Daniel Woolhouse).  Daniel’s brand new track “Union” hit the interweb a little while ago, and as DUMMY writes: “While DEPTFORD GOTH’s world sometimes feels burdened with an overbearing sadness, ‘Union’ seems to have an air of far-off hopefulness: encapsulated by the impossible yearns expressed in the line ‘I belong with everyone I’ve ever known’, which flicker onto the screen captivatingly.”  You can read DUMMY‘s full profile of the song by visiting DUMMYmag.com.  To enter the world of DEPTFORD GOTH be sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and his main site DEPTFORDGOTH.com, and keep your eyes and ears peeled for DEPTFORD GOTH’s full length album which is set for release in early 2013 via Merok Records.  Also starring in the video for “Union” are two handfuls of lovely helium balloons.  But soon enough we may find ourselves living in a world where balloons filled with helium will be a thing of the past.  The world’s helium supply is collapsing, and you can find out why this precious gas could soon be banned by watching NBC NEWS’ report below.
