BILLOW OBSERVATORY is the music duo comprised of Danish producer Jonas Munk (a.k.a. MANUAL) and Jason Kolb (guitarist for AUBURN LULL), and the two are set to release their upcoming self-titled album on December 4th via their label Felte.  The first preview track “Pankalia” was just released and it’s pretty damn gorgeous.  In a recent press release Munk speaks of the ambient nature of the album: “I think of a lot of this material as sounding as if it comes from surroundings rather than from hands touching instruments.”  You can follow BILLOW OBSERVATORY on Soundcloud, visit their home page at Felte (where you can pre-order the album), and download your own copy of “Pankalia” in the Soundcloud player below.  And MPSO (i.e. Mount Pleasant Sympathy Orchestra) is the moniker of musician Daniel Gray who released his beautiful album Wisdom Teeth back in February of this year. I’m loving his track “Winter’s Day Reflection Song” which you can stream in the Soundcloud player below.  You can also stream and download the entire album in full for free on his Bandcamp page.  And for all things MPSO you can check him out on Facebook and Tumblr.
