Directed by Olivier Dahn (La Vie En Rose), written by Arash Amel, and produced by Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Grace Of Monaco is currently in the middle of shooting, but earlier this week we got our first look at Nicole Kidman who is taking on the role of Grace Kelly, the former Princess of Monaco. The film — described by insiders as similar to The King’s Speech “in scope and tone” — focuses on a six-month-period in 1962 during which Monaco became embroiled in a dispute with French President Charles de Gaulle, who was unhappy with the principality’s status as a tax haven. Kelly was said to have been key in the dispute’s settlement.  Grace Of Monaco co-stars Parker Posey, Tim Roth, Milo Ventimiglia, and Frank Langella.  It is currently scheduled to arrive in theatres in 2014.
