The buzz is building in a very big way around director Park Chan-wook‘s English-language debut STOKER, and this morning we get our very first glimpse of the highly anticipated film.  Written by Wentworth Miller (Prison Break) and scored by Clint Mansell (THE FOUNTAIN, Requiem For A Dream), STOKER tells the story of India (Mia Wasikowska of Alice In Wonderland) whose father passes away.  Soon after her father’s death, India’s Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode of A Single Man) — whom she never knew existed — comes to live with her and her unstable mother (Nicole Kidman). She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him.  The first footage premiered on Entertainment Tonight recently, and Kidman looks to be in epic form as usual, while multiple award-winning director Park Chan-wook (Oldboy, Thirst) appears to have brilliantly captured the magic of Alfred Hitchcock like nobody’s business.  The film opens on March 1, 2013 and its first official trailer is set for release next week.  STOKER co-stars Dermot Mulroney and the amazingness that is Jackie Weaver.
