MS MR is the New York-based glitch pop duo behind “Hurricane”, their brand new track which you can download for free via MSMRsounds.com.  There’s really nothing more I can write about these guys because they’ve done a brilliant job at maintaining as little information about them online as possible — besides links to their sites.  Perhaps they’re terribly shy, and too reclusive to promote their upcoming North American tour beginning June 1st in Brooklyn and wrapping up August 18th in New York (for all the tour dates CLICK HERE).  In a recent interview with Pitchfork, MS MR’s female half discussed the inspiration for “Hurricane”: “‘Welcome to the inner workings of my mind,’ [she] offers with a touch of hostility. Lyrically, ‘Hurricane’ feels beset by a sense of hopelessness, but sounds as though it should soundtrack a heroine turning triumphantly on a heel as the credits roll.”  For all things MS MR be sure to visit MSMRsounds.com, and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.
