Surprisingly enough, it’s not often that a music video comes along that impresses me.  With the majority of new videos that I come across it’s quite easy to compare it to ones that already exist, but such is not the case with BEAR IN HEAVEN‘s latest video for “Sinful Nature” — a freakish love letter of sorts to the 1990 film Pretty Woman. This movie itself, I must admit, had a fairly major impact on my high school youth experience, and even inspired me for a short time to become a low-rent Los Angeles prostitute back when I was a 15-year-old hillbilly buried deep in the hicktown that is The Ottawa Valley.  As much as I vomit at the sight of Julia Roberts today, I the film added a heavy dose of fuel to my dreams of someday enjoying a jet-set Hollywood lifestyle.  For BEAR IN HEAVEN’s latest video for “Sinful Nature”, the mix of recreated iconic scenes from Pretty Woman and the creepy facial skin masks à-la Buffalo Bill of The Silence of the Lambs, add up to what is easily one of the most intriguing, surreal, and entirely original music videos I’ve seen in ages.  I’ll always have a soft spot for Pretty Woman, and now I can say the same for my newest favorite group.  To enter the world of BEAR IN HEAVEN be sure to visit BEARINHEAVEN.com, and you can also follow them on FacebookTwitterTumblr, and Soundcloud.  And if you haven’t yet discovered BEAR IN HEAVEN’s equally amazing “Cool Light” be sure to CLICK HERE.  To pick up your own copy of the band’s must-have 2012 album I Love You, It’s Cool simply head over to iTunes.
