I don’t usually post stories that have been kicking around for too long, but when I came across this one in particular I couldn’t resist.  Back in 2006, CBS News profiled Jason McElwain, a young special-ed student who, at the time, was serving as Manager of his high school’s basketball team, assisting the coach and the team with anything and everything they needed.  Jason was always the most exuberant and filled with team spirit, and as a reward, one evening the coach let Jason suit up so he knew what it felt like to be part of the team.  And then something incredible happened: the coach let Jason play for the last 4 minutes of the game.  What happened next made news headlines around the world.  And has left me a bit misty-eyed this morning.  Amazingness.
