This past weekend I had to pull over the car because I found myself completely transfixed by Scott Thompson‘s interview with Wiretap host Jonathan Goldstein.  The entire episode explores our relationship with prophecy, and for his segment with Kids In The Hall alum Scott Thompson (be sure to check out Scott’s website NewScottLand.com) Goldstein opens with some touching thoughts on one of the most common of all prophecies — the fortune cookie.  Sounds trivial enough, but Jonathan elaborates on this everyday little biscuit in the most touching and insightful way, opening the door to one of the most compelling true stories I have heard in ages.  Scott goes on to share a personal story of his that will absolutely floor you: from nearly being killed by Islamic fundamentalists, to nearly dying of cancer, to having sex with Sadaam Hussein, to his unbelievable connection to 9/11, to a mindblowing prophecy he experienced a few years back, Scott’s story will melt your heart, make you laugh, and give you goosebumps too.  I won’t tell you anything more because it is something you have to hear for yourself.  Amazingness.
