Barcelona-based artist Jaume Plensa received major international recognition after one of his sculptures appeared in Madison Square Park.  Now Plensa is currently exhibiting his first major British exhibition in Yorkshire Sculpture Park until September 25.  The installations are of various large-scale human figures and heads created out of steel mesh as well as steel letters.  The central piece, “House Of Knowledge”, allows the visitor to enter inside and perhaps come to some enlightened revelations inside of a sculpture that is a manifestation of that very state.  To learn more about the artist be sure to visit his website at JaumePlensa.com.
