This stunning timelapse of Manhattan was shot by Mindrelic (a.k.a. Josh Owens) and features some of the most beautiful images of the city that I’ve ever seen.  Aparently Owens spent a month hopping from hotel to hotel in New York and captured over an hour of real time footage (which translates into multiple hours upon hours of recording time).  Feast your eyes on Manhattan In Motion below, and to learn more be sure to visit Josh at Mindrelic.com, or follow him on Facebook and Twitter.

Every time I see timelapses as exceptional as this one I can’t help but think of how they represent the importance of moving through life slowly and with grace.  It’s so easy to get lost in the accelerated speed of modern life, and with each passing day this speed only gets faster — all the more reason to take more time to pull back, slow down, and catch a sunrise or two.
