My heart just skipped a passionate beat when I saw this profile of a new chandelier design by Italian company Le Porcellane.  Called “The Orchidea”, the chandelier is an incredible example of Italian craftsmanship with its hand-made porcelain orchids that are each painstakingly crafted then kiln-fired at 1330 degrees (with availability in white porcelain, ivory tone, or Murano glass). The calla lilies are actually diffusers which house the light bulbs giving off an amber glow and washing the ceiling above in a floral spray of soft warm light as my soft, warm, and sweaty Italian lover bursts through the front door after a long, hard day in the Tuscan vineyards, making me glow in all the right spots (“Oooooohhh, let’ la s ha sesso!!!) Hopefully the chandelier can support my weight.  You can get more information by visiting Le Porcellane.
