The Fox Is Black just profiled the work of lightmapping artist Dev Harlan.  In the first piece called Any Color You Like (Pyramid IV), Dev projects onto two triangular pyramids at the Christopher Henry Gallery in New York (for your own scale reference, the total height of the two pyramids measures 6′).  You can see some images from this piece below as well as a video showing the lightmapping in action.  In the second work entitled Suffolk Deluxe Electric Bicycle I, Harlan collaborated with Olek and projected colorful crochet patterns onto a matte white bicycle frame.  Really beautiful stuff. To learn more about Dev’s work you can visit his website at DevHarlan.com. And to learn more about crochet artist, Olek, you can visit her website at AgataOlek.com. For more great finds like this be sure to check out Bobby Solomon’s The Fox Is Black.
