Parker Hurley is the perfect combination of a bad boy with the body of a Greek god. He has heated up the pages of GEIL, Swiss Made and E&A Magazine and became the face of Buckler Swimwear Fall/Winter 2009 and Von Dutch Spring/Summer 2010. With his sculpted six pack abs and chiseled bone structures, he is moving fast up the rungs of the male modeling ladder.  Parker was recently profiled by OHLALAmag for his editorial in Carbon Copy magazine with some excellent photography by Kristina Wilson, and you can see those photos and more below.  I looked further into Parker’s story and he seems to have a great head on his shoulders.  He’s 24-years-old and is a bartender in Manhattan.  Here’s a personal profile that he wrote of himself for Model Mayhem:

PARKER: artist. nerd. kick boxer. music lover. superhero fanatic. video game junkie. pancake enthusiast. etc.  i’m super open-minded and opinionated yet try not to take myself too seriously. it’s a job and i’m here to have fun and create neat images.i view modeling as a form of art and one of the ultimate forms of self-expression.   I’d love to travel, if expenses are paid for, and i’m up for crazy ideas as long i respect your work and think interesting images will come out of it. i find that so many successful models look exactly the same and who says they have to? i’d like to change the trend.  NO–not interested in any sort of pornography!  Only interested in working with legit photographers and artists. If your profile rubs me the wrong way, i probably won’t respond. don’t waste my time or yours.  [As far as tattoos are concerned] firstly let me state how important my tattoos are to me … I’ve had a few run-ins with people getting similar designs or flat out taking mine completely … they are all designed by me, so please, please, PLEASE!, come up with your own concepts, as all tattoos should mean a great deal to you … I have turquoise bands on my ankles and wrists, five small birds going up my left side, a very busy half-sleeve on my right arm, and turquoise circles running along the length of my spine.  They are pretty though, i did them myself and they are all extremely important to me.  Ithink tattoos and piercings can be great assets to a model, if they are done properly. would love to work with photographers who agree.  I also have 10 piercings but are all either hidden, or can be removed.

You can see more photos from Parker’s editorial for Carbon Copy at OHLALAmag.  You can also check out another series (including a NSFW image) by clicking here.  Parker Hurley is represented by Red Model Management.
