Everyone wants to lose a ton of weight, but the problem is, they don’t want to put the necessary work in or make the sacrifices that are needed. There are a few tips and tricks that are going to help you accomplish your goals, but if you aren’t working out or watching what you are eating, you are going to be struggling. Here are several diet and exercise tips if you are looking to lose 30 pounds in a month.

Supplements and Dietary Aids

Supplements are a great way to get the extra nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that your body is lacking. Getting your body as healthy as possible is a great way to ensure that your immune system and metabolism are working as efficiently as they can. A more efficient metabolism means it will be burning off food and calories at a much quicker rate. There are also certain teas out there that can help you with your weight loss. For example,  tea-like senna tea is great to add to your regular diet for its great benefits. You might be asking why senna tea has such great benefits, and it’s due to one compound, anthraquinones. This compound is a naturally occurring laxative, and you guessed it, this tea will help to purge your body from any problems and give you a good cleanse.

This is a great remedy to try when you are looking to start a new diet or start a new workout regime. Just pour yourself a couple of glasses over the first few days and watch as you feel like a brand new person. The tea itself can also help with some weight loss too. Keep in mind however that there are side effects of using senna tea due to the laxatives. If you go too heavy on the laxatives, your body is going to be extremely dehydrated, which as a result will result in you retaining some fat and water weight. You have to find the perfect combination to ensure that you are getting the most out of your tea.

Gym Supplements

Other supplements you should consider taking are protein shakes and pre-workout. As you are going to be getting to the gym to work out, you should be doing what you can to enhance all of the effects. Pre-workout is great as it continues a hint of caffeine and can help to increase your energy, endurance, and focus during a workout. It can help to push you to the next level. Please be advised with pre-workout however there is a risk of caffeine overdose. If you ever feel any adverse effects when taking pre-workout, please stop immediately and contact your doctor.

The final gym supplement you should be taking is protein. Protein can help your body recover much faster from your workouts and can also be used to help make your muscles stronger. If you are looking to lose weight, you are going to want to increase your muscle mass as larger muscles by default require more calories, therefore resulting in more calories being burned each day solely by existing. Look into gym supplements if you are looking for a way to lose some extra weight and get you the push you need at the gym.

Counting Calories

Counting your calories has existed for many years now simply because it works. Diets might have some added benefits, but at the end of the day, if you want to lose weight, you are going to have to keep your calories down. The easiest way to tell if you are going to lose weight is just by looking at your calories in vs your calories out. If you are intaking more calories than expending, you are going to be gaining weight and if you are expending more calories than what you are intaking, you are going to be losing weight. It’s as simple as that.

Now, you might just think you can eat an extremely low amount of calories and get away with it and lose weight right? While that sounds like a great idea on paper, in reality, that is going to dramatically hurt your weight loss journey. Weight loss is all about your metabolism and if it slows down, so does your weight loss. Starving your body will slow down your metabolism and force it to start burning fewer calories which in turn, hurts what you are trying to do. Therefore, you have to find the right balance of calories to keep your metabolism going, but not too many to make your weight loss negligible.

The final tip for losing weight by counting calories is to exercise. While you don’t want to put your body into starvation mode by eating too few calories, there is nothing wrong with burning excess at the gym or with a run. Eating 1500 calories on the day and burning off 500 is much different than eating 1000 in total. Counting calories is important, but it should not dominate your lifestyle to the point it becomes hazardous.

Hit the Gym and Exercise

Finally, you are going to have to get up and go to the gym, there is no way around that. Whether you go to do cardio, or you simply lift some weights, you are going to have to do something if you want to lose some weight. We recommend doing weights because as mentioned earlier, muscles need energy throughout the day. The more muscle mass you have, the more energy they need, therefore the more calories than you are burning. Lifting weights also can release endorphins in your brain and make you much happier as well. With so many positive aspects to going to the gym, you should definitely get a membership if you want to lose weight.

These are all ways in which you can lose some weight quickly in a month. Remember that at the end of the day it is all about healthy weight loss. Push your body, but remain within proper limits and if you ever feel weird, do not hesitate to go to the doctors. How do you plan on losing that 30 pounds in the month?
