Produced By Terrence Malick, This Mindblowing 3-Minute Doc Trailer Will Reboot Your Heart & Soul

It’s not everyday that Terrence Malick attaches himself to a project in the role of producer, but then again, it’s not everyday that a documentary of this calibre comes along. Entitled AWAKEN, this is a feature documentary from filmmaker Tom Lowe that explores humanity’s relationship with technology and the natural world. Shot over a 5-year period in more than 30 countries, the film pioneers new timelapse, time-dilation, underwater, and aerial cinematography techniques to give audiences new eyes with which to see our world. AWAKEN is a celebration of the spirit of life, an exploration of the Earth, and an ode to the Cosmos. Alongside Malick, AWAKEN was also produced by Godfrey Reggio of Koyaanisqatsi. Upon seeing the film, Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Vincent Laforet raved, “Stunning. Minds will be blown.
