There was an impressive 2,100 shots in STAR WARS: The Force Awakens that required visual effects. But the VFX of STAR WARS are unlike those of any other film — these are steeped in legend in the film industry, and touch on some of the most iconic sets, spaceships, and props in all of movie history. It must have been a dream come true for some of these visual effects wizards to work on this project. Job well done.
