This past weekend, Thom Yorke made a surprise appearance at the Latitude Festival in the UK when he joined headliner Portishead onstage for a stunning performance of “The Rip” which you can watch above. As SPIN points out, Thom also recorded his own cover of the track back in 2008. Meanwhile, James Blake also played Latitude recently, and he mentioned after his set that he actually performed a brand new single from his highly anticipated new album, Radio Silence. Although footage or recording of the so-called “Radio Silence” song has yet to surface, Consequence of Sound uncovered two videos below of James performing the song — one from this past May in Tampa, and a second from a November, 2014 performance in Toronto.
