Next month more than 19,000 people in Amsterdam were scheduled to play hide-and-seek in the city’s IKEA store, but that plan has likely been cancelled — forever. IKEA’s bigwigs in Sweden are putting their foot down on the emerging new global craze of adult hide-and-seek games that are clogging up their stores worldwide, and — as they claim — are causing too many injuries for the fad to be allowed to continue. Huge on social media, hide-and-seek games at IKEA stores are all the craze, with similar events scheduled in Canadian and European stores as well. (Photo: Mark Lennihan/AP).
