Last night Anderson Cooper rightfully destroyed Lumber Liquidators’ laminate flooring empire when he exposed in a 60 Minutes report how the company has been knowingly producing and selling highly carcinogenic laminate flooring from their factories in China. And this is not any ordinary carcinogen — the specific laminate flooring that Lumber Liquidators has been selling to customers all over North America is some of the deadliest composite material ever discovered. As a matter of fact, when Denny Larson, executive director of the nonprofit group called Global Community Monitor, and his colleague, Richard Drury, a prominent environmental attorney, sent the laminate flooring samples to be tested by an independent lab the scientists immediately thought their equipment was broken because the sensors had almost exploded to their highest red alert levels — something the lab officials had never seen happen before.
