When director Jesse Moss’s documentary The Overnighters hit Sundance early this year, it was the talk of the town.  The ★★★★★ documentary took home the Special Jury Prize for Intuitive Filmmaking, and chronicles the lives of broken, desperate men who are chasing their dreams and running from their demons in the North Dakota oil fields.  A local Pastor risks everything to help them.  The film’s other prizes include: the Golden Gate Award for Best Feature Documentary at the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Grand Jury Prize at the Miami International Film Festival, and the Inspiration Award at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.  You can watch the film’s trailer above, and learn more by visiting JesseMoss.com.  The Overnighters opens across North America later this fall.
