ANTONYMES is the moniker of designer, photographer, conceptualist and musician Ian M. Hazeldine, who makes his music from the wilds of North Wales — a very strange, fantastic, ultimately unreal place of mountains, streams, woods, villages and obscure wilderness.

My friend Gerard Harris recently tipped me off to ANTONYMES, namely the stunning track “A Feeling Of Being Closer” off ANTONYMES’ album of remixes of four songs belonging to Slow Dancing Society (a.k.a. ambient musician Drew Sullivan).  Each of the four songs off the remix album were taken from four different Slow Dancing Society albums, and you can stream/purchase them all by visiting ANTONYMES at his home label Hidden Shoals’ Bandcamp page.
