Facebook is a blessing and a curse.  It brings us together, but it can also tear us apart.  It makes us feel connected, but it can also make us feel incredibly alone.  Some would be tempted to label this as a paradox, but they would be mistaken.  In a revealing video written, designed, and animated by Shimi Cohen, we are given a brilliant 4:36 analysis of what Facebook is doing to each of us, and to society at large.  The video is inspired by Sherry Turkle’s TED talk, Connected But Alone, which was based on Dr. Yair Amichai‘s The Invention Of Being Lonely.
