Pierre Frey™ is the French luxury design house founded in 1935.  The renowned company is best known for its custom fabrics and wallpapers imbued with the purest French tradition.  The legacy of Pierre Frey™ is one of passion, poetry and realism, extreme refinement, audacity and elegance, inventive intelligence, profound eclecticism, and the very best of Parisian chic.

Last Thursday the company unveiled a beautiful new short film directed by Martial Schmeltz entitled ESCAPADE, which effortlessly captures the elegance and quality which permeates all facets of the Pierre Frey™ brand.  In an interview with NOWNESS, Schmeltz describes the atmosphere he was trying to capture in the film: “It’s a nighttime romance in Paris — a city of wild, classy, underground glamor — the perfect playground for games of seduction.”  Consider it mission accomplished, Martial, because after watching ESCAPADE myself, there were two things I wanted to do immediately: 1) buy everything I could afford from the house of Pierre Frey™, and 2) hop on the first plane to Paris and track down a sexy French husband just like the man starring in the film.  Pierre-Benoit Talbourdet Napoleone is the hunk who plays the Parisian dentist at the center of the story, who meets up with actress Amandine Decroix for what has to be one of the sexiest nights one could ever possibly imagine experiencing in Paris.
