Tokyo-born, Berlin-based queen of psychedelic dream pop, CUUSHE (a.k.a. Mayuko Hitotsuyanagi), is back with a brand new EP entitled Butterfly Case.  CUUSHE’s previous release was her critically acclaimed 2012 EP entitled Girl You Know That I Am Here But The Dream, in which she used her powerful voice as the main instrument with which she wraps her exquisite synthesizer sounds, elegant strokes of piano and edgy guitar chords, floating them altogether into the air, with layers of vocals and reverb of noises.  This resulting soundscape euphorically transports you to the other side of the never ending dream, where you always wanted to be.  The same can be said for the very first single from Butterfly Case, the track entitled “Lost My Way”.  You can stream it in full below, and to enter the world of CUUSHE be sure to visit CUUSHE.net, and follow her on Facebook and Soundcloud.  You can purchase your own copy of CUUSHE’s Butterfly Case when it is released on September 23 via Flau Records.
