I fell head over heels for Spike Jonze all over again when the trailer for his highly anticipated new film HER was released a few weeks ago. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, the film tells the story of a love-starved recluse (Phoenix), who falls in love with the voice of his Siri-style high-tech computer operating system (voiced by Scarlett Johansson). The film also co-stars Chris Pratt, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, and Olivia Wilde, and the score for the film is being composed by none other than Arcade Fire. Along with an original score by Arcade Fire will be some new music by other artists, such as Karen O and her track entitled “The Moon Song”. Warner Brothers released the song this morning and you can listen to it in full below, and watch the trailer as well in case you missed it. Spike Jonze’s HER opens in North America on December 18th.
