Acclaimed Montreal producer CFCF (a.k.a. Mike Silver) is getting set to release his upcoming EP entitled Music For Objects on July 8th, and earlier this morning he previewed the first single “Camera”.  In Mike’s own words: “The record acts as a companion piece to my previous EP ‘Exercises’ with a more playful, micro view of the ephemera that shapes our daily lives.'”  Not that I wasn’t already pumped enough for new music from CFCF, the fact that he’s linking this to the amazingness that is his 2012 album Exercises makes it even more (get a taste of what his Exercises masterpiece has to offer in the video for the album’s standout track ‘Exercise #3: Building’ below).  You can pre-order CFCF’s Music For Objects in North America via Paper Bag Records, and for all other fans you can pre-order via DUMMY.  You can follow CFCF on Facebook and Soundcloud.  And someone else working on their own special kind of exercise in the heart-torn experience of long distance love is Baton Rouge producer SUICIDE YEAR and his sensitive hip-hop reworking of Britney Spears’ 2004 hit “Everytime”.  With a dedication “To Kaykay.  Goodbye Florida, July isnt so far away,” obviously SUICIDE YEAR is missing the love of his life in a major way.  I have a feeling when they rekindle their romance next month, the pair will still hold a soft spot for tear-stained A+ remix.  You can follow SUICIDE YEAR on Twitter and Soundcloud.
