DAZED & CONFUSED recently released their highly addictive new playlist for June and I’m all over it.  D&C write: “We’ve got some wispy, floaty shizz from Johnny Jewel, Mexican Summer’s Mood Rings, 100% Silk’s Coyote Clean Up, dreamy newcomers Blackedout and erm, Truss’s final track under the blaring MPIA3 moniker?  PLUS: RL Grime dunna remix of 17-yo drill-honcho Chief Keef, Kate Wax has come back as Aïsha Devi and we’ve piled in a Brandy & Monica edit, funky garage vibes from BRTSH KNIGHTS to more experimental things from James Ferraro, SFV Acid and Subtext’s Paul Jebanasam, woot woot.”  One of the tracks I love the most from the D&C June playlist is MOOD RINGS’ new single “Pathos Y Lagrimas” which you can check out below.  And as I was driving home yesterday from a weekend in the country I was approaching the skyline of Montreal listening to CKUT‘s Sunday May 19th, 2013 edition of Modular Systems.  The set was exceptional and I’m still waiting to find out the exact set list, but you can stream it for yourself below (it takes a few minutes for it to reach its prime).
