A couple of nights ago I was joking with a friend over some drinks about the idea of airlines charging their customers according to their weight.  “Haaaaaaaaahahaha!  Like that would ever happen LOL!”  Cut to earlier this morning when I happened to catch this CBS This Morning report on an airline that began doing just that.  What might seem like bad business has instead turned out to be good business for the airline — profits are up 20% since the new payment rule was implemented.  You can watch the report below, and get a taste of what might be right around the corner for other airlines around the world if the price of oil continues to rise.
