From its early festival buzz at last September’s TIFF, Rob Zombie‘s upcoming horror The Lords Of Salem has the power to tear you a new one — right after it scares the living shit out of your old one.  And earlier today we got our first sneak peak at the film’s soundtrack which looks to be equally impressive.  As The Playlist notes, “Alongside the score cuts by John 5 & Griffin Boyce, there’s Manfred Mann’s ‘Blinded By The Light’ and Rick James’ ‘Give It To Me Baby’ providing some FM flavor.  And going further back, two classic cuts by The Velvet Underground.  And if you need to get your prog rock on, Rush’s seminal ‘Spirit Of The Radio’ is here too.”  To check out the full tracklist of the film’s soundtrack simply head over to The Playlist.  Rob Zombie’s The Lords Of Salem is set to open in North America on April 19th, with its soundtrack being released three days prior.
