Brisbane-based quartet MITZI just opened up free streaming of their brand new album Truly Alive, and less than 15-minutes after pressing play, I think I’ve successfully tricked my brain into thinking it’s a hot and sweaty bliss-fueled day in mid-July.  Released via Sydney-based indie dance record label Future Classic, Truly Alive showcases MITZI’s unique brand of garage disco, NYC indie with the light-heartedness of Australian pop.  It’s the perfect antidote to one of the coldest fucking days we’ve had all winter here in Montreal, so I plan on keeping this album within arm’s reach for a few more months to come.  Truly Alive is released in North America tomorrow on February 19th, and you can pick up your own copy of MITZI’s new album by visiting Future Classic, and stream the album in full below.  For all things MITZI be sure to visit HelloMITZI.com, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
