Toy Story director Lee Unkrich is a gigantic fan of Stanley Kubrick’s legendary 1980 horror classic The Shining. His fan site The Overlook Hotel is perhaps the ultimate resource for fans of the film, and thanks to his diligent research Unkrich has uncovered the original 2-minute ending to film which Kubrick had demanded projectionists cut from the reel a full week after the film’s original release. There is a very good chance we will never get to see the footage itself, but you can read the full scene by CLICKING HERE. What exactly happened in this long lost scene, you might ask? The Playlist explains, “Well, it was a scene set inside a hospital after the events at Overlook, in which Mr. Ullman tells Wendy that Jack Torrance’s body was never found.
