This week I’m up to my eyeballs in a design contract that has landed me smack dab in the middle between my bosses’ growing list of notes and revisions, and a Thursday night deadline that is approaching at breakneck speed.  I’ve never missed a deadline in my life, and these things always work out perfectly in the end, but when you’re in the middle of whipping up a giant batch of drawings and illustrations for a client it can often seem like there’s no way it will ever get finished.  As I said, it always gets done, but the only reason for this is to tune out the future, stay focused on the present moment, and every now and again perhaps open my eyes for a split second to see how much time remains in order to recallibrate.  This is my Tuesday, folks — as well as my Wednesday and Thursday.  Music certainly contributes to my productivity, and none more so than classical in the mornings, followed by ambient in the afternoons and evenings.  NO FEAR OF POP just posted this terrific new EP entitled In Transit courtesy of RECYCLED CULTURE, and I plan on taking it for a spin several times over the next few days.  Enjoy.
