As CBS This Morning wrote earlier this morning: “Oprah Winfrey found herself on the other side of the interview Monday, when she sat down with David Letterman at his alma mater, Ball State University.  The ‘Late Night’ host struck an uncharacteristically serious tone in a wide-ranging and nearly two-hour conversation with Winfrey that touched on race, the abuse she endured as a child, and the history of their own relationship.”  Jeff Glor of CBS NEWS caught up with Winfrey immediately after her conversation with Letterman where she opened up about the “uncomfortable experience” she had on his show that caused her to not speak to him for 16 years.
