I’ve never been able to figure out why any person or family with a gay relative, friend, or loved one in their lives would willingly choose to worship at a barbaric Catholic, Pentecostal, or Evangelical church without vomiting from the contradiction.  If you truly loved that person, why would you not ditch those obscenely immoral religions and make the move to a Unitarian, Episcopalian or North American Anglican church where the light of God truly does shine from every soul unconditionally?  Currently on a promotional blitz for Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway said that when she had to cut her hair for the role, she glanced in the mirror and got a kick out of her reflection because she thought she looked just like her gay brother Michael.  In a recent interview Hathaway also revealed: “The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out. Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?”  If I didn’t love Anne Hathway before today I most certainly do now.
