When celebrated piano superstar Lang Lang (born June 14th, 1982 in China) was just seven-years-old he began tickling the ivories with Chopin’s “Black Key Étude” (composed in 1830).  As CBC Radio 2’s Tempo writes, Lang Lang “performed the complete set of 24 études on stage at the age of 14 and performed in Chopin’s Polish homeland in 2010 to mark the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth.”  For his latest offering, Lang Lang has teamed up with dubstep dancer Marquese “NONSTOP” Scott in the brand new music video for his rendition of Chopin’s “Ocean Étude” Op.25 No.12 and it’s pretty amazing.  To enter the world of Lang Lang be sure to head over to his site at LangLang.com, and for more great stories from the world of classical music you can check out Classical Music on FEELguide.
