Last night I came across the brand new video for “Shuga Plum” by future hip-hop superstar Gabe ‘Nandez and I was seriously blown away.  Directed by Gaetano Frangella of Binocular Films, the video uses optical in-camera effects and elegant post-production superimpositions which combine to beautifully highlight Gabe’s phenomenal rapping style set to the beat of Tchaikovsky’s “Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy” from his 1892 ballet The Nutcracker.  For all things Gabe ‘Nandez be sure to follow him on Twitter and Soundcloud.  And to learn more about the work of director Gaetano Frangella you can visit him at BinocularFilms.com, follow Binocular Films on Facebook, and visit BF’s Vimeo page.
